Thanks for the kind words Steve.
Like you said, we have never met, but like you, I will consider you as a friend. I think pretty much all the poker buddies in Twitter are the same. Very cool guys and for sure, we’ll sit on the same table some day to play a little poker. That might happen sooner than we think
For me the race was a excellent way to get back into poker. As is TPT (Twitter Poker Tour) People can really play well and you are one of the best Steve
I just had a very nice session with @ArisPoker as he is still on the race, I joined same table with him on micro limits. We had great fun. I think we busted 15 other players on the way and both gained over $10 at the end. We played hard against each other too and I think one of the biggest pot’s were when I semi bluffed (reraised) him when he had over pair (KK) on turn and I had nut flush draw and gut shot. I went all in (for $6) and he folded after thinking quite a while
So we weren’t team playing, just the opposite. But it was one of the nicest poker sessions in a long time.
Maybe we should consider to play some cash games together (Twitter buddies) in low limits and teach each other as we go. I am up for that in any day. Just call me up if you want to do that.
I haven’t felt all that good in last two days and haven’t played at all, before that micro session with Ari. But I hope my back pain will ease and I can get hard into poker again.

Some cash game play can be fun. @Rawrstar turned me on to the game 2-7 triple draw. I played it with him at the table. He taught me some of the basics and later I read more about it from the SuperSystem II book. Even the new HU tourney being played on Sundays sounds like a way to learn more as well. I did not play last Sunday, was just not up to it – we shall see what this week brings. Twitter poker players do have a passion for it.
Hope your back improves and that you feel better as well.
